Freedom’s Call is a documentary film produced by George Kilpatrick, along with Richard Breyer, and Robert Short Jr. It tells the story of journalists Dorothy Gilliam the first African American female reporter for the Washington Post, and Ernest Withers who has photographed Martin King Jr and many other civil rights icons.
Together they covered key events in the civil rights movement during a period of domestic terror. Relive their experience and travel with them on some of the very same roads they went on. To find out more about Freedom’s Call visit www.FreedomsCallTheMovie.com.
